An experienced criminal defense attorney can examine the charge and determine the police properly contacted you and properly booked you in and if any searches they did were legal and above board. Sometimes they make mistakes and in those instances a criminal defense attorney can figure that out and possibly get some of the evidence thrown out of the case.
