Michael Galyen, Executive Vice-President of Bailey & Galyen, Attorneys at Law, had the privilege to throw out the ceremonial first pitch on Saturday, August 5, as the streaking Texas Rangers hosted the Miami Marlins at Globe Life Field. Galyen, an experienced litigator, tossed out the ball on behalf of the firm, which has the honor of serving as the Official Law Firm of the Texas Rangers. Rangers Captain, the team’s beloved mascot, served as plate ump, signaling a strike as Galyen’s bending curve caught the outside corner of the strike zone.
A graduate of the Texas A&M University School of Law, Michael Galyen focuses his successful practice on personal injury litigation, handling motor vehicle accident claims, work-related injuries and premises liability cases. The son of Phillip Galyen, who founded the prestigious firm more than 40 years ago, Michael is committed to protecting the rights of injured people across the Lone Star State.
“It was the experience of a lifetime,” Galyen admitted. “I’ve loved baseball my whole life. To stand where many of the legends of the game have stood…that’s an honor that’s difficult to describe.”
The Rangers rallied from a 5-0 deficit on Saturday to defeat the Marlins, claiming their 5th win in a row.
