I’m lousy at it. There’s not much that I can fix around the house. And it would be better for me to spend my time and money getting a professional that actually knows what he or she is doing.
A lot of times people will download their estate planning documents or they’ll copy them from ones that were done previously. Maybe from another state, maybe from another century. And then as I have a conversation with them, I will have to break the news to them that they didn’t actually accomplish what they had intended. I think about that if you ever found some pills and they didn’t have any label on the bottle, they weren’t necessarily prescribed for you and your health condition, and your circumstances and there’s no dosage recommendation. Be best not to ingest those pills without a prescription, and a dosage on the outside. Be best not to download something from the internet and without knowing what you’re doing, put information in there that won’t bless your family and do what you intended to do.
